The Future of AI in Financial Services

They say that science fiction films are really about the present rather than the future. Be that as it may they are a source of inspiration to many an illustrator. In the world of business scenario planning, foresight and future casting are fertile territories for illustrated visuals. And sometimes can have a feel of sci fi about them, even though, as in this case, they are grounded in well researched reality. We recently worked with University of Strathclyde and their partners on this AI & Fintech image. Stathis Tapinos, Co-investigator at the Hunter Centre For Entrepreneurship, Strategy And Innovation tells us:

“Our project on the Future of GenAI for Financial Services in 2040, conducted with the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab in the Strathclyde Business School, involved scenario thinking. Scenarios are developed through a process of disciplined imagination. We were pleased to have worked with Live Illustration, who creatively depicted the four contrasting scenarios through illustrations that clearly convey the key message of each future. Live Illustration’s experience and creativity strengthened our aim of producing images that challenge current assumptions and help stakeholders to imagine plausible futures”.
