Bringing a large group of people takes a huge amount of time and effort. The smallest thing can change a big event and most importantly make it memorable. That's where we come in. Live Illustration adds a new way for an audience to see the event.
RECORD THE ACTION
A workshop, conference talk or strategy meeting is all about communication. Visually recording what is said, plotting it spatially and adding images to fix the ideas & concepts in place is the secret ingredient of graphic recording.
CREATE A MEMORY
After the event a visualisation, hand drawn and perfectly crafted, will create a lasting memory. A wonderful takeaway or post event communication. And a record to look back on over the years.

1. We find out about your event
We talk to you about how your event works and how we can best contribute.
2. We draw - live
We show up with pens or an ipad (or both) and draw it.
3. We create high quality visuals
Afterwards we refine the images to make fantastic illustrations.
Ipad FAQ’s

We don’t offer this however we’re happy to liaise with your AV team before and during the event to show the illustration live in the room. We bring the iPad and the connectors needed to show the illustration unfold. You have full flexibility when you show the illustration to ensure we’re not distracting the delegates.

As the illustration is captured directly onto the iPad these are available straight away. We can email each image as soon as it’s ready and we’ve had great success with people posting them to LinkedIn during an event.

We will bring the iPad and all necessary connectors to connect to an AV screen. We will need to be near the AV desk to connect to the screen to show the illustration live. Access to a table, chair, mains power and wifi is also essential.

We do! These are a great additional piece of content to be able to share after the event. Ask when booking so we can make the scribe aware and we will include this in your final output.
Board FAQ’s

Yes, part of the equipment cost for foam boards includes full studio digitisation of the illustration captured on the day and ownership of the boards themselves. They will be dismantled by the scribe and packed away into an A1 size box for easy transport. We can also help arrange professional printing of the digitised image if you plan to display the artwork.

Yes. The standard foam boards we use are fully recyclable. We reuse the same high quality board stands to avoid unnecessary waste. We can also offer a portable drawing wall which we then attach paper to as an alternative. We work closely with suppliers for bespoke large drawing walls made from eco friendly materials for events that need something a little more impactful.

We digitise illustrations between 3-5 working days post event. Often this is quicker - let us know you require a speedy turnaround.

Our standard foam boards are around 3m wide and we ask for 1m either side to ensure the scribe has space to move around and isn’t obstructing anything. This takes around 20 minutes to set up. We also need good lighting to see the board and to be able to hear all of the speakers clearly. Ideally we would be placed near the front of the room to ensure we don’t miss anything important and so your delegates can enjoy watching the illustration unfold.
