The London Array Safety Day
20km off the Kent coast is the London Array - an extraordinary bit of UK energy infrastructure sitting in the sea. Working on it is tough and dangerous and for that reason regular safety events are held. This two day event, back at base in Ramsgate, featuring actors was fully illustrated.

A highly engaging workshop
The Safety Day had a tough audience - workers who spent their days in rough seas, battling the elements to keep huge offshore wind turbines functioning. A troupe of actors held their attention, provided a narrative and made the day easy to draw.
A flexible client
The team at the London Array were keen to adopt new ways to pull their audience in, the image was drawn on the day to reiterate the day’s content. But it was also vital to function as a post event reminder.
A cunning plan
Knowing the general content, length of day and being given freedom to operate we were able to preplan a drawing that would slot together to become one epic piece.
